New December Texas Hunting Leases: Dove, Deer & Trophy Whitetail Hunts Ready Now
Texas hunting season is hitting its stride, and this week’s new listings deliver something for every hunter — from affordable South Texas dove hunts to guided trophy whitetails on sprawling North Texas ranches.
Here’s what’s fresh for the week of December 1, 2025:
South Texas: Dove & Deer Opportunities
Encino (Brooks County) – Second-season dove hunts are now open on 67 clean acres with two ponds. Most hunters limited out last round, and the cooler weather only improves the shooting.
Live Oak County – Affordable 1,200-acre day lease offering $50/day access, with lodging and military discounts available.
San Patricio County – 142-acre milo field day hunts at $35/day — great for groups or youth hunters.
Frio County (Dilley) – 350 acres of mixed brush, tanks, and hay grazer fields. $100 per gun, limited availability.
Hill Country & South-Central: Multi-Day Packages
Wilson County – 3-day/2-night hunts over milo, millet, and sunflower fields for $650. Lodging included.
Medina County (Devine) – Last-minute cancellations opened December 3–5 for deer and exotics (Whitetail, Axis, Addax, Gemsbok, and Wildebeest). Lodging available.
North Texas: Trophy Hunts & Open Regulations
Wilbarger County (Vernon) – Whitetail hunts with no antler restrictions. Limits include two bucks, three does, and four turkeys — plus unlimited hogs, coyotes, and bobcats.
Montague County (Nakona) – Guided trophy whitetail packages on 6,000 acres with meals, lodging, and skinning included. Hunters who tag a buck can also take home a doe or hog at no extra cost.
