99 New Texas Hunting Leases Just Dropped — And Dove Season Is Right Around the Corner
If you've been waiting on a sign to lock in your spot before the September 1 dove opener, this is it. This week we added 99 new listings to Texas Hunting Lease Listings — the biggest single drop we've ever posted — covering more than 50 counties from the Panhandle to the Rio Grande Valley.

The Headliners: Three Multi-Species Leases
Not everything in this drop is dove. Three properties stand out for hunters looking for a season-long home.
1,284 Acres in Runnels County — Seasonal
West of Wingate sits a serious piece of West Central Texas country set up for hunters who want to build something year after year. This MLD ranch runs a rifle season from early October into January, and the landowner does the heavy lifting for you: protein and corn feeders are provided and filled by the ranch. There's a campsite on location with septic and electric. Dove, duck (on the stock tanks), quail, turkey, and pigs are all on the menu, and the ranch is looking for a small crew of six to eight hunters who want to grow trophies, not just take them.
1,000 Acres in Gray & Donley Counties — Annual
Two Panhandle tracts a mile apart, rolling hills of native grass with plum thickets and brushy draws for cover, plus a big dryland farm field that pulls birds. Whitetail, quail, dove, pigs, and predators — with a chance at a spring turkey. A secluded campground next to the farm field has water and electric, and there's potential to add an adjoining 800 acres down the road. Sized right for a small group or a family lease.
Waterfowl Membership in Matagorda County — Seasonal
For the duck hunters: a four-man waterfowl membership on the Gulf Coast prairie in Matagorda County. Availability is limited, so this one won't sit long.

The rest of this week's drop is wall-to-wall dove country, and the acreage numbers are big:
13,000 acres in Sutton County near Sonora, with stock tanks that concentrate birds in dry September weather.
10,000 acres in Collin County — planted in corn, wheat, milo, and native sunflower, and famously family-friendly.
9,800 acres an hour north of Dallas with grain fields and fourteen ponds — bring a rod, fishing is fair game.
5,000 acres in Colorado County and 4,000 acres in Hidalgo County for the coastal and Valley crowds.
3,100 acres in Duval County running an all-inclusive multi-day package — meals, lodging, and six tanks.
2,500 acres in Coleman County with sunflower, milo, water, and two cabins on site.
The JW Burns Ranch in Throckmorton County, a classic Big Country setup with numerous pastures and tanks planted in native and Maximilian sunflowers, wheat, and croton.
